Northside Hospital-Cherokee
Northside Hospital-Cherokee in Canton became a significant part of the Northside
Hospital delivery system in October 1997. The 84-bed, not-for-profit,
full-service community hospital staffs more than 240 physicians and more than
500 employees offering surgery, emergency, maternity and outpatient services.
To meet the community needs, Northside Hospital-Cherokee expanded their
Emergency Room capabilities to a 7,000 square-feet state-of-the-art facility
with 20 treatment beds, streamlined registration and triage with
Board-certified emergency physicians and staff. In addition, they have
increased their rehabilitation, outpatient and breast imaging services
capabilities and added a new sleep laboratory.
