The Northside Hospital Cancer Institute offers the best of both worlds: clinical excellence on par with academic-based programs along with the personalized and the attentive care typically associated with a community hospital. Northside, which has been offering cancer care services since 1975, is one of the largest and most respected providers of cancer care services in Atlanta.
Northside’s Cancer Institute is fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. In fact, the ACOS awards approval based on compliance with seven standards that represent six areas of cancer program activity: cancer committee leadership, cancer
data management, clinical management, research,
community outreach and quality improvement. Northside
also received an Outstanding Achievement Award as a
